My Journey:
My journey into holistic health began more than 15 years ago with my own health. Growing up, I struggled with IBS, PCOS, chronic migraines, and chronic fatigue. At their worst, my migraines caused severe dizziness and sensitivity to light. There were times when I would spend weeks in a dark room because the light made my symptoms worse. I spent years searching for answers and trying to understand why I was experiencing these issues at such a young age.Â
Â
Eventually, that search led me to holistic health. Through changes to my diet and lifestyle, along with nutritional support, supplementation, and bioenergetics, the health issues I had struggled with for years resolved. That experience opened my eyes to a completely different way of looking at health and became the starting point for what would eventually grow into my career.Â
Â
What began as an interest in improving my own health quickly became a desire to understand the human body on a much deeper level. For more than 15 years, I have continued studying nutrition, our food system, the body, and the many factors that can influence our health. The more I learned, the more interested I became in understanding how different systems of the body connect and why two people experiencing similar concerns may need very different approaches.Â
Â
That passion eventually led me to leave the corporate world and pursue formal education in natural health. My education and training have expanded into nutrition, herbalism, homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, bioenergetics, iridology, and other natural health practices, giving me multiple ways to look at a person’s health rather than relying on one method or perspective.Â
Â
Today, I bring that education, training, and more than 15 years of learning into the way I work with my clients. I take the time to understand your health history, nutrition, diet, lifestyle, current concerns, and individual findings, then look at how those different pieces may connect. Depending on your needs, I may also incorporate laboratory testing, bioenergetic testing, Muscle Response Testing, Traditional Chinese Medicine observations, and other assessment methods to gather additional information.Â
Â
I don’t believe there is one approach that works for everyone. Recommendations are based on the individual and may include nutrition, supplements, herbs, homeopathy, lifestyle changes, additional testing, or other natural approaches.Â
Â
I also believe that meaningful change takes time. There isn’t always an immediate answer or a quick fix, especially when someone has been dealing with health concerns for years. My goal is to take the time to listen, look deeper, and help you better understand the different factors that may be contributing to how you feel so that your wellness plan is built around you.Â
To me, natural wellness begins with looking at the person as a whole.Â
Â
Health is rarely about just one thing. Nutrition, lifestyle, stress, environment, daily habits, and many other factors can influence the way we feel and how the body functions. That is why I believe it is important to take the time to understand the full picture rather than focusing solely on an individual symptom.Â
Â
I also believe in working with the body rather than taking a one size fits all approach. What is beneficial for one person may not be right for another, which is why my recommendations are guided by your individual history, needs, and findings.Â
Â
My approach is centered around listening, looking deeper, and connecting the different pieces of your health story. My goal is to provide personalized natural wellness support while helping you better understand your body and become an active participant in your health journey.Â
